6 Gumnuts in Sterling Silver
A posy of sterling silver gumnuts.
These fallen gumnuts were foraged from the foot of a tree on a bush track in the Blue Mountains, Australia. They were cast in recycled sterling silver, and then hand-finished in our home studio.
Your earth-friendly answer to fine, elegant jewellery.
The sterling silver chain is included; choose between 40, 45 or 60cm.
On most necks:
40cm chain sits pendant between collar bones.
45cm chain sits pendant at underarm height.
60cm chain sits pendant at chest height.
Model wears 45cm chain.
About the packaging:
We hate waste. Every bit of packaging we use is reusable, biodegradable, recycled, or recyclable.
The wooden box is made in Australia, from camphor-laurel, a fast growing native wood with a beautiful grain.
We fill it with organic raw cotton instead of plastic foam, like most jewellery gift-boxes. Use the cotton as a mulch on your flowers, save it for a craft project, or throw it in the compost.

c a r e f o r y o u r p i e c e :
Sterling Silver is a precious metal. With the right love and care, you can hand this piece down to your daughter and your daughter's daughter.
It will oxidise (darken) over time, but a rub with a jewellery cloth (available at jewellers and hardware stores) will bring it back to a nice shine. Store in a sealed container away from moisture when you're not wearing it.
Send us a message if you'd like us to clean it up for you for $20, including return shipping.
If you're a wearer of perfume, make sure to spray before putting on any of your Wild Wattle pieces, as spraying directly on to metals can wear them down.
